Hi,

Excellent choice, I have used cognos and speedware and IBI(focus).

Speedware is truly superior to cognos , for one you don't have to deal with
subfiles anymore.

With Speedware , I would suggest :

1- setup your standard for catalog,specs , designer and profile before
   anything else.

2- Use suprtool from robelle as a front end to speedware where you can.

3- screens are much easier to generate with designer than quick ( 50 to 1),

   if you need to convert to speedware ,it should be very easy.

4- avoid speedware programmers with 5.0 experience.
