You don't need Win'95 for Miail on the Internet,  I used to access my
mail through Terminal  on the PC and PINE on the ISP.  Not very
elegant, but it worked.  Of course, if you want to take it back to
the days of Arpanet, you could get on before here was a PC as we know it.
