In continuing with this subject, I've got a dumb question.
I've run this command as shown below and created a new file.
The size clearly shows it stripped out something.
When I do the display function and print the file, all I see
are the LF & CR displayed with the contents.  There's no evidence
of null characters. I've honestly never seen them on the HP side, but
after transferring the file to the pc and viewing it within pctools
in HEX edit, I can view the shaded block character with the little circle
in it which I believe to be the null character. Is this how it's seen
through the display functions? Or is it something else?
Where is a table or chart representing "\00" as null?
