Can someone explain the following:

A job logs on into it's home group and with the ECHO command creates a
command file to be fed into MPEX. A LISTFTEMP shows the TEMP file. MPEX
executes the command successfully.

Same scenario as the above, but immediately upon logging on, the job
executes a CHGROUP command. Then the ECHO, then the LISTFTEMP showing the
TEMP file in the changed group, BUT MPEX cannot find the file.

Why?
