HP's latest MPEiX 5.5 Express 4 Patch does appear to cause either
additional dbiopens or delayed dbiopens on Omnidex enhanced TurboImage
data bases.

DISC has received the patch in house and will be exploring the problems
with HP to determine what was modified in their latest patch.

Until we have more information to provide, we recommend that Omnidex
customers do not install the Express 4 patch at this time.  We will
provide updated information as it becomes available.
