I don't know about anyone else but as for me, I've never had a problem
with changing equipment under support. On our old Series 70, I use to
replace boards and reconfigure the system, all under support. I even
added a second I/O bay and had to tweak the power supplies, all under
support. HP never gave me any grief about it. So you would think
changing a jumper would be OK.
