Hi,

Does anyone know how to increase the size of the shell's command line
buffer?  I was told about the shell command:
   $ getconf _POSIX2_LINE_MAX

and it shows 2048.  I'd like to be able to increase this value by a factor
of 2.  Does anyone know what the upper limit is for this value?
