James Trudeau said after Jeff Kell...

It's real funny, but we just put the SIGImage ballot up on the web, logging
everything to a TurboIMAGE database. It takes the input, edits it and
writes it out to the database in a very short amount of time. This is a
3000! (a 927RX under 5.0 with 128 MB memory and 8GB Disk). The box that
Unix weenies look their noses down on!

Everybody says that the Unix box is the only box for the web. I contend
that the 3000 can kick the 9000's butt in many many ways when it comes to
mission critical, web-enabled apps. This app is mission-critical for
SIGImage - and it kicks butt :)

Not only that - it handles my Internet E-Mail (NetMail) and very soon,
Bind/iX.

It really steams me when I hear about the cost virtues of "Going Unix".
What Unix can do, MPE can do, and probably better, faster, cheaper and with
less human resources than any Unix shop can come up with...

We don't need no steeeenkin Unix, do we?

</rant>

Oh well - back to some good ol' client-server development for **MPE**

Cheers,
Joe
