There was an HP Word for the 3000. But, there are many file codes defined for
many purposes, esp. for HPDesk integration products. I don't remember a Word
Perfect, but that doesn't mean much. If you have HPDesk and someone sent a
document file as an attachement (e.g. from the OpenDesk GUI), then that
attachment was copied to an MPE file from a HPDesk character mode login, you
could get a file code like that.
