DDS2 drives will "love" older tapes if it cant recognize it. Those tapes
MUST be wear the "Media Recognition System". Even with old HP tapes, we
got problems. We found that only those with 4 vertical bars on them (||||)
could be written in a DDS2 tape drive.

So, what is the problem here? Any ideas? Personally, I
think it's because the DDS-2 tape drive doesn't like anything
but 120M tapes (well, it might make an exception for a 90M
tape). What do you think?
