Hi,
I had to replace a disc drive (ldev 1 system disc) on a micro 3000. I have
not worked on these machines for about 10 years and am getting rusty trying
to remember MPE versions that old.
I got the disc drive installed and all the programs, databases, etc,
reloaded. But if I shutdown the system and then try to restart with warm or
cool, I get a timeout. I think it is trying to find drive 1. I wrote down
the info from drive 1 when I did iomap, so I am able to restart the system
using the command:
start 4 0
But that is going to be to complicated for the user to remember. I seem to
remember that you can set the system load device somewhere. Does anyone
remember how to set this?
