Oh, is VERIFY an option of FCOPY? Something like FCOPY .... ;VERIFY?
I've never heard of it. The FCOPY I used is what the vendor has in
their instructions. Not an excuse, now that I know about VERIFY,
I'll probably use it from now on.

Yeah, I did get it to work with a genuine HP 90M tape, although the 60M
tape was MRS.
