HP had a product called CD Extensions that allowed sharing of the CD
with PC clients, but dropped it after about a year. So much for HP's
guaranteed 5-year support life! There may be a way to do it with
Samba...

Is anyone using the internal CD-Rom device to read the HP3000 manuals?
We
have a HP3000 959 that I would like to use to allow everyone in our
department
to access the manuals via this device.

Any assistance you could lend to help me configure the system to allow
this shared access the manuals would be greatly appreciated.
