Another suggestion -- if they want to change the type size for
particular print files, and you have an easy method of programmatically
sending an escape sequence to the printer before/after the print file,
you can use the following:
To set an HP 2563 or 2564 printer to 10 characters per inch, send
the string "<escape>&k2S"
To set an HP 2563 or 2564 printer to 16.7 cpi, send "<escape>&k0S"
To turn off either of the above settings at the end of a print file,
send "<escape>E"
