Hello James Clark from James Hofmeister (This could get confusing)..

This default can be over-riden on a 'get' from the 3000 side or a put
from the hp-ux side... Using build-parms.

Example:

On 3000:

get uxfile mpefile;rec=-90,1,f,ascii

On UX system:

put uxfile mpefile;rec=-90,1,f,ascii

P.S. Be aware, it is important to *not* skip any spaces in the mpefile
name portion of this put since the unix system does not know about mpe
build parms, it just thinks you put this file on MPE as
"mpefile;rec=-90,1,f,ascii" and the FTPSRVR sorts it out and builds the
"mpefile" with the correct record specification...

Hope this helps.
