Oh yuck.

Of course there's nothing stopping someone from writing an LDAP server
(the L is supposed to stand for "Lightweight" isn't it?) for MPE that
could serve up user data or whatever else that would be useful for
interoperating with NT 5.0 if that becomes important.  LDAP client
services would probably be a worthwhile 3000 port at some point too.
I'm kind of surprised people haven't already been asking for it, as
LDAP seems to be taking over at least the interface to the world's
"directories".
