here. Please forgive me if my reply is off target.

A number of companies (of which mine is one and yes I DO sell hardware)
sell refurbished HP equipment as an alternative to buying new. The
equipment I sell is guaranteed eligible for HP maintenance and comes
with a 90 day warranty.

I suggest you check out the alternative to buying new, you'll be
surprised at the amount of money you can save!
