This is not intended as a plug for Unison-Tymlabs, but in 9 years of
managing half a dozen different HP-3000 systems using BackPack and
RoadRunner, I've never had the AUTOREPLY or AUTOLOAD commands fail for
any reason that was software-related. This has been true for HP-IB and
SCSI DDS tape drives (generations I and II) and 79xx reel-to-reel tape
drives.
