Also, check the following:
1. CompuServe is UUEncode based, not MIME, which a lot of
the mailers are switching to. CompuServe delivers mail
through its online (and proprietary) interface and performs
UUDecode within the host itself. If sending attachments to
a CompuServe member, it's always safe to use UUEncode rather
than MIME.
2. The Juno recipient may have the same problem - their
POP3 client is set for UUEncode/UUDecode or set for MIME,
and the opposite is being sent. (Also remember, Juno does
not permit attachments greater than 64K --- the price for
being a freebie mail account)
Encoding is almost always the culprit behind attachments
which arrive as "garbage".
