We have a Jamaica box that's intended to hold up to 8 SE SCSI disk drives.
We currently have 1 drive in it (a 2.0 GB ST32550N). We need more disk
space, so I want to install another drive in the enclosure, and naturally,
I have some questions:
1) What size drive should I put in? 2 GB, 4 GB, or ? I'd rather go with
the 2 GB because that's what all the other (3) drives are.
2) Is this something I can do on my own? That is, if I'm somewhat
mechanically minded (when we were going through our un-terminated
SCSI bus problems, I had these drives in and out all the time), are
there any "gotcha's" to be aware of?
3) Any other hints, tips, or comments?
Thanks, as always, for your help.
