In my current experience, poor or non-existent support from Oracle is
not confined to the HP3000; it is a major problem for one of my clients
who is trying to install Oracle on a non-HP machine. Oracle's response
to most questions is to recommend hiring an Oracle $upport person.
(Not that I mind too much; it means that the HP3000s will stick around
for years. ;-) )
