Do you have MPEX? If so, the VEFINFO function will return the information
you need, provided that the actual file designator (the right side of the
file equation) is fully qualified:
:file myfile=yourfile.yourgroup.youracct
:mpex
% calc vefinfo("*myfile").group
yourgroup <---- value returned by VEFINFO
% calc vefinfo("*myfile").account
youracct <---- value returned by VEFINFO
You may also use %setvar to place the VEFINFO values into variables which
you can then reference from your programs ... or just use the default
HPRESULT variable set by the %calc command.

Subject: Location of a File-Equated File
Anybody got any ideas on how to find the "real" group & account of a file
that has been file equated?
