Well, you can always call the Response Center as though the failing
"unsupported" product were your own. The Response Center may not help
you debug the program, but if it aborts with a funny error they should
be able to tell you whether that error is an MPE-type error or an error
from the particular application itself. If it's an MPE-type error,
then they may be able to tell you if (as in the case of the loader
error Java got) there are any known problems that would lead to this
condition.

In these cases the question to the RC is not "Java doesn't work, fix it
for me" but "I got this error, can you help me understand what might be
causing it?" which is certainly a reasonable request. Even with a
question about an "unsupported" product, you ought to be able to get
the RC engineer to at least do a couple of searches of the problem
database for you to see if you're running into a problem that the RC
has already had to deal with for some other reason.
