Hello Ian:
I work for VESOFT.
Your best bet for the short term is to turn off the UDC that invokes
Security/3000 at Hello time - called LOGONUDC. Also, text the Security/3000
configuration file SECURCON.DATA.VESOFT and modify line 1 to say
$VEPROFILE off. Either operation will terminate session name enforcement.
Please note that Security/3000 requires licensing and is not transferable
without a transfer fee and new license agreement between VESOFT and the
current user. If you wish to maintain use of the software, please contact
me. Is VESOFT's tool MPEX running as well (run MAIN.PUB.VESOFT - if you get
a % prompt, you have a powerful tool that you should know about.)
