Hi all,
For those of you who get the Interex "Hot News", the
12/3 edition said:
Hewlett-Packard has introduced the first 8-way Windows NT server,
the HP NetServer LXr Pro8.
I replied to them (Interex) with a correction, but they ignored it.
FYI, several 8-way NT machines already exist, including machines
from Corollary and from NCR (see PC magazine, April 22, 1997).
Additionally, Unisys announced a 10-way NT machine (PC, June 24, 1997).
Why post this? I don't care for the Interex approach of (apparently)
taking HP press releases verbatim, publishing them to many of us, and
then ignoring feedback.
I value HP3000-L as a means of getting the views of multiple people.
That's one reason we also subscribe to Ron Seybold's "3000 News Wire"
(info at http://www.3k.com/newswire/) ... to get multiple views on things.
