Sorry, I am coming in the middle of this discussion. But from what I
see,
   TAURUS Software has a product: Warehouse 2 that we briefly tested
   that moved data from image on HP3000 to Oracle on HPUX via socket
listener.

   It has some initial setup -- mapping image sets/items to
tables/columns.
   Then run listener on HPUX (with Oracle DB started) and then wahehouse
on
   the HP.

   I can't seem to locate contact info at this time. Sorry.

PS: Product also moves data the other way, for those who may wish to
move from Oracle!
