Mark has this correct. Unfortunately, most Express tapes will
contain one or more "product type" patches. Many "product type"
patches have I-Files. This makes the Express tape unstagable if the
one or more of these patches "qualifies" on your system (which will
be very common). As I mentioned earlier, you can still stage the
Express tape, but you have to "veto" the patches that are not
stageable. You can figure out which patches to "veto" by looking at
the list in either "qualify patches" or "view patch information"
screen. NOTE: Patch/iX will not tell you if a patch is or is not
stageable until AFTER the qualify patches step is performed. Why?
Because Patch/iX does not examine the contents of each candidate
patch until it "qualifies" them. It cannot tell if a patch is
stageable until it looks at the contents of the patch.
