Actually, the best and most efficient database for the 3000 is TurboIMAGE.
As for Oracle, it supposedly does run better on the 3000 than on its Un*x
counterpart - it was ported to the 3000 first, then ported to the 9000.

As for figures or performance benchmarks - you may not get much help as
Oracle puts into almost every licensing agreement a prohibition of releasing
benchmarks or performance material.  I've always found this puzzling, as in,
what does Mr. Ellison and Company have to hide?  If it's so darned
wonderful, you'd want people to tout it's performance.

Personally, it's an expensive and not-as-good performing alternative to the
native database to the HP3000 - and that's TurboIMAGE.

Just my US$0.02 worth...FWIW...
