Hi Birket
    Nick Earle talked a bit about this at the ORERUG Seminar last week... If I
remember right he stated that HP would be working on the compilers for this
aspect.

I believe the IA64 was designed to run PA-RISC 2.0 code in "compatibility mode"
- the question is - are any of the HP3000 compilers capable of generating
PA-RISC 2.0 object code?

Inquiring minds ... would like to know.
