COMPAQ DOES IT AGAIN! CUTS SERVER PRICES FROM 6 TO 18 PERCENT
           http://www.news.com/News/Item/0%2C4%2C16584%2C00.html?nd

Compaq Computer cut server prices from 6 to 18 percent today as a
follow-up to its introduction of new models last week. The price cuts
are aimed at cementing Compaq's No. 1 position in the Windows NT-based
server market, a lead which the company claims grew by two points last
        quarter.

I am always extremely pleased when an HP3000 customer does well. And I am
even more pleased, of course, when that HP3000 customer also happens to be
a long-time Adager user with 20 or more licensed CPUs :-)

Congratulations, Compaq! We are all cheering for you.

Alfredo
