Other than screwing up in public on Wirt and Stan,  I got a coupla
other thoughts.

Brian Manley posted today on a strictly HP 9000 problem........and
apparently got flamed for it.  Bill R. King has a post regarding moving
data from a 3k STORE tape to a 9k.  We just went through postings
on Win95/NT,etc,etc.

My opinion is there ain't no list anything like this list anywhere near
this list, so this must be the list.  It's up to date, informative, and has
saved my posterior several times.  I would like to see it be a HP 3000
only list just like it has been (humor stuff included).  My shop consists
of:

HP 3000 987 - production machine
HP 9000 K460 - future production machine
a few Win 3.x pc's
a bunch of Win 95 machines
a few Win NT machines
Some HP J210 workstations
2 Sun workstations
1 Sparc 5 workstation
bunch of Xyplex, Gatorbox, Synoptics, Shivas, Verilink and Microcom
  stuff to glue it all together.
oh yeah, I gotta phone too.

My point is:  Yep it's the 3000-l list OK, but the stuff I just listed is quite
common to members of this list.  It's a hetero-genius environment and
I'll take help wherever I can find it and as I said this is the most
convivial, technical_know_how, responsive and just downright cool list
I've found. I'm quite willing to put up with off 3000 issues.......just think
maybe a month from now I will be able to use what I don't need today.

Maybe we could preface stuff with something the same way we do for
OFF-TOPIC, or HUMOR?

9k = HP 9000
Win (95) or (NT) or ?

Yeah, I know but my mail list is as big as yours.  Filter it (don't know how
but it can be done).
