Yep.  Strange.  When I grow up I want to be just like him.  Different car
though.

When I first read this, I took umbrage at James' what-I-thought-to-be
unfair characterization of Wirt as "a little strange" (and if you've
ever taken umbrage, you know how horrible that can be).  Then my
bibliophilic side took over and I looked up "strange" in my Webster's
New American Dictionary:

"STRANGE adj.  Not known or met before, unaccountable, surprising.
Syn. Novel, exotic, outlandish, odd, singular"

Well, having met Wirt, I guess that certainly describes him to a "T".
