I just went through all of this, so I know what you are going
through. So here is the easiest way to do it (I think):

     1. Do a full backup.
     2. Create an SLT (if you need instructions on this email me back)
     3. :COPY NMCONFIG.PUB.SYS,NM?????.PUB.SYS
Name the 'to' file whatever you want (except for NMCBACK) but
make it something you will remember.
The first three steps are just precautionary measures in case
     something goes wrong.

In the following steps '<F#> label' where # is a number from 1 to
8 means press the function key indicated by the number and the
label. Example: <F1> OPEN CONFIG means to press the F1 function
key which is labeled OPEN CONFIG.

     4 :NMMGR
        <F1> OPEN CONFIG
        <F5> UTILITY
        <F1> OUTPUT
        <F3> PRINT DATA

     5. Look for a spool file with your session as the jobname and the
filedes is "FORMLIST". Print this spoolfile.

     6. Look carefully at the print out and make note of all of the
places the current IP address exist. Also notice the screen path
(ex: NETXPORT.NI.LAN1.PROTOCOL.IP) and make note of this.

     7. :NMMGR
        <F1> OPEN CONFIG
        <F2> NS
        <F3> UNGUIDED CONFIG

     8. Based on the screen paths which you marked in step 6 use the
function keys to navigate through the following screens.

     9. Change the IP address you marked earlier to the ones they
     should be.

     10. Exit out of NMMGR and validate the changes you have made
(NMMGR will help you with this).

     11. Do steps 4 and 5 again and verify what you have entered.

     12. Reboot your machine so that the IP address will take effect.

     13. Create a new SLT.

Please note that these are only suggestions. There is NO
guarantee that this will work. I am not an HP employee and can
     not provide HP level support.

Hello all,

First, let me say thanks to those who emailed me about the
autologoff problem. Right now, we are looking at going to the Unison
Roadrunner package for backing up, and also using their utility to abort
any jobs on the system, but enough about that. I have a real newbie
question for you all.

In a nutshell, I need to move my 928rx from one building to another
that is on a different gateway. This will necessitate changing the IP
address on the HP so that my Reflections users can still use the
machine. My question is, how do I accomplish this change? Please
remember that you are talking to a real neophyte on the HP, so use
mono-syllabic words if possible.

Thanks in advance
