Various people may or may not be actively working on porting the Internet
freeware sendmail (www.sendmail.org).  It would be nice if they could give
us all a brief status report.

Until the real sendmail arrives, I wrote myself a simple Perl script that
enables MPE /bin/mailx to send outgoing e-mail.  I need to clean it up and
add some comments before I can release it.  An example:

!job jobmail,manager.sys;outclass=,2
!sh.hpbin.sys '-L -c ''echo "some text" | mailx -s "my subject" [log in to unmask]
!eoj
