Paul after me:

<< I tried to do this years ago with a jury management system for 2-4
users. The other problem I ran into was the complete lack of interest
from Speedware Corp. in pricing their products to match this
opportunity! >>

The third-party vendors would obviously have to play ball to
make this work in cases where their systems are involved.
Adager and AICS Research and perhaps others have already
provided leadership in this area for the potential "918PM" (as
differentiated from the now-actual 918DX, which got great
support from many companies in the third-party community).
Hopefully many if not most of the third-party vendors would
follow their lead if the 918PM becomes a reality....

>> You know; something like: "When a PC is not
>> enough, step up to a PM"... Or whatever....

> This is great marketing material!! You need to give up your day job.

Well, even us Federal bureaucrats hope to have a semi-good
idea once in awhile.... ;-) .... And remember, far as I recall
Cortlandt Wilson gets credit for first coming up with the
"Personal Mainframe" moniker; that's really the key phrase.
........ And I'm not eligible for even early-out retirement for a
couple years yet.... :-)
