The comments from David Lethe compared HP 3000's to IBM RS-6000's.
Did that answer your question? If we compare the RS-6000 to the HP 9000
you get an entirely different answer. The impression I had was that you
wanted
performance stats on HP 9000's vs.IBM RS 6000's and I am forwarding you
that kind of information. However, if you want to go beyond mere hardware
specifications and into suitability of the vendor and the products to
support a high-availability enterprise network, I believe I can show you
that the HP 9000/HP/UX/ OpenView/ServiceGuard/HP Support equation
is the best thing out there.
