I discovered that my first version was able to UNDELETE detail records. I
am working on handling of master records, UNPUT and UNUPDATE opertaions.
The program must be able to read the logfile backwrds, too, if I want to
undo complicate transactions.

I have some trivia questions:
1) How does a database receive a dbase identifier? The data base
identifier is number returned by
the DBOPEN. It seems to be constants for a database. Is there a secret
place in the system directory where a database identifier -> database
name.proup.account table is stored?
1a) When does the MPE/V system change the database identifier of a given
database? I case of coldstarst, restructuring, reload, ...?
2) Can I determine from a CHANGELOG record the logical device number of
the log file?

Frank
