No doubt there is already a plethora of online newsletters. This one comes
from the publishers of TidBITS, a Mac-oriented newsletter that has been
published online weekly since 1990. The purpose of NetBITS is stated as:

        NetBITS is a free, weekly, electronic publication that provides
        practical Internet information to individuals who spend significant
        amounts of time online for personal or professional reasons.

(There is no need to be concerned about their other Mac-oriented slant.
They say:
        Although NetBITS will have some Macintosh-specific content,
        it will also include Internet information for those using
        Unix, Windows 95, and other operating systems.
)

Subscription info and the latest (currently "only") issue of NetBITS are
available at

        <http://www.netbits.com/>

In time, they may have to narrow their focus; the first issue answers the
question "Why [am I not] seeing full ISDN speeds?" in addition to the more
mundane "How do you pronounce 'URL'?" In any case, it should bear watching.
