     Hi Jeanne,

You may be in luck. The environment you describe may just fit the
abilities of a Y2K firm that I received some sales literature on.
They have a reference site that auto-"magically" converted and tested
1.4 million lines of MPE/iX COBOL and Image/SQL databases in 30 days
time. (They can ONLY convert COBOL code using their process which was
     unfortunate for my needs.)

They also claim to be able to convert from one database environment to
another without any appreciable manual intervention. Sounds pretty
unbelievable, doesn't it? The company is ConSyGen located in Phoenix,
AZ. Their number is (602) 496-4545. They can be found on the web at
     www.consygen.com.

I have no stake in the business, just curiosity. So, if you use this
service, I'd be interested in finding out how it worked out for you.
