I'm evaluating a client/server software and I have a question about one of
their claims. They indicate that the client software establishes a
connection to the HP3000 by passing 'login' information to the RPM process
which in turn creates a special type of session, to quote their statement:

    > If login information is complete, RPM initiates a new session on
    >the HP 3000. These sessions, however, are not identical to interactive
    >sessions initiated on terminals. RPM sessions do not count against the
    >system's user license....

Is this true? Using the client software,I connected to our HP3000 and
checked the number of sessions reported by the 'showjob' command. The RPM
created session was included in the number of sessions reported.
