The "On-Line" button, duh, why didn't I think of that?

I'm still concerned about the dip switch settings.  Does the HP-IB
address have anything to do with the path, or does it just have to NOT
conflict with anything else?

There are 8 switches, I think only 3 of them have anything to do with
the address.  The first one I suspect is a test mode switch.
