I fully support Ken here - we have had the same bad experience! We use
DBGENRL to copy databases to disk, but I'm pretty sure that ADAGER can do
the same ...

One word of caution here.
We have seen several databases with broken chains caused by an MPEX copy
while people were updating the database.  As Judy Fisher pointed out in a
later post, she only copies databases which are open for read-only which
will not produce broken chains.
Please be careful when using MPEX to copy your IMAGE databases.
