I will be traveling to Chicago a few days before the conference in order to
really see some of the outstanding sites in Chicago.   I would be glad to
meet up with anyone for museum hoping, site seeing, and/or dinner.

Places (in rough order of priority):
Field Museum of Natural History - very diverse collection, famous dinasour
fossils, a great collection of Northern California Indian artifacts of all
things.

Chicago Museum of Art - considered by some to be the best in the country.

Shedd Aquarium

Frank Lloyd Wright buildings

Museum of Science & Industry

Second City

Chicago Pizza

Details:  I will be arriving Thursday afternoon and plan (at this point) to
be staying at the Hyatt Regency.
