Hmm. I thought you could specify ";DEV=DISC" in MPEX and it would scatter the file. I could be
wrong, as I haven't analyzed the file after doing such a thing.
What *would* be a nice feature would be if you could specify drives to *exclude* when moving
files (in MPEX). When I've had to exclude files from moving to certain drives, I would do a
VOLUTIL "ALTERVOL volset:memberx low% t%" first, move the files (DEV=DISC), and then set the
VOLUTIL percentages back.
Anybody have a better solution?
