I managed to find some time yesterday to figure it out. If you poke around
in the directories you install from (ie IO-1.7 or whatever) then in
blib/arch/auto you will find the .sl file(s) in the correct format (an NMXL
file). You have to copy these to the correct place in /usr/local/lib/ but
it seems to work fine thereafter..
