We migrated to a 928 (stated Relative System Performance=14.0) from a
classic series 70 (stated RSP=4.4) two years ago. In reality, the
performance improvement has significantly exceeded the threefold factor
anticipated. Perhaps some of the improvement is due to the efficiencies of
the RISC environment but we're extremely happy with the 928's performance.
Your 932 has a stated RSP=5.0 so I would imagine you'll see a similar
improvement.
Sorry, we've no data to share re the 9 GB drives. We use 2 GB SCSI units
which have been fine for our needs.
