Hi Nick,
Just a point... The American Military in general and the Army in particular
have at least partially converted to the metric system...

The Army has all maps done in metric (1000 meter grids) and most (if not
all) weapon systems are defined in meters (500 m is the maximum effective range
of a M16A2 rifle hehehe) and we are converting to use radians for our compasses
and bearings.

Art "Trying to convert military maps for use in Civilian cities! hehe" Bahrs

----------
America hasn't adopted the metric system yet except in science and
medicine.
