I used to be a digester because I got tired of all the "You have received
mail" notices.  So I finally told my mail thingy (microsoft but I think they
all have the option) to quit telling me about it and got rid of the digest.
Now I just check in occasionally to see what's up.  Probably not for
everyone John, but you might give it a try, you can always go back
to the digest.
