We use a few of those cards.  The Emulex NetJet & NetQue support TCP/IP
printing and you can also connect the serial port on the card to a DTC, as
long as you have the proper cable adapter.  We're on 5.0, so I haven't used
the TCP/IP printing.

I assume you can do this with 5.5
