CAT-5 was probably a misnomer.  I meant your typical twisted 4-pair cable
with RJ-45 plugs at each end that are wired correctly.  I'm sure there's a
darn name for those things besides "patch cable", because "patch cable"
could imply many things, including audio.  I just can't think of the name
for them.
